Minivan Slams Into THE Glen Rock
A minivan slammed into the gigantic boulder that gave the borough of Glen Rock its name. The alert, conscious driver sustained injuries that responders said weren't life-threatening after his Toyota Highlander rammed the 570-ton boulder at the intersection of Doremus Avenue and Rock Road shortly before 9:30 p.m. Sunday. Police said he may have suffered a medical episode before the crash. The Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps took him to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Police: NY Man Jailed For Wielding BB Gun, Fleeing During Dispute With Sussex County Landscaper
A 31-year-old man has been jailed after wielding a BB gun during an alleged dispute with a Sussex County landscaper. David A. G. Martin of Peekskill, NY is accused of brandishing PSM45 BB handgun during an argument over payment at a landscaping business off Limecrest Road around 3 p.m. Wednesday, Andover Township Police said. Martin then drove away, heading toward Newton-Sparta road in a red Ford F150, police said. Man Slashes Tires Of 22 Hospital Workers In Northern Westchester, Police Say
A suspect has been charged after nearly two dozen hospital staffers who ended shifts battling the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic found the tires on their vehicles slashed. It happened in Northern Westchester at the New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt. At about 7 a.m. Friday, April 10, state police say they received a report of criminal mischief.
