Jeffrey Becker of Allamuchy Township became disrespectful toward the bartender at Applebee’s on Mountain Avenue in Hackettstown around 8:15 p.m. on Jan. 31, local police said. Becker, 51, had just been asked to leave the restaurant when he began shouting racial slurs repeatedly, police said. Becker was subsequently arrested outside the restaurant and charged with two counts of disorderly conduct. He was released pending an appearance in court.
