A crash with injuries was jamming up traffic on Interstate 80 in Morris County, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 3:40 p.m. on Friday, July 12, according to the NJDOT. The crash involved a vehicle off the roadway along I-80 eastbound west of Exit 30 (Howard Boulevard) in Mount Arlington, the NJDOT said. Check back for updates.

8-Year-Old Struck, Killed By Car While Riding Bicycle In Morris County, Police Say
An 8-year-old riding his bicycle was killed after he was struck by a vehicle in Parsippany on Tuesday, July 9, authorities said. At 5:34 p.m., the 8-year-old was struck by a 2022 Mazda CX5 traveling in the area of 189 Littleton Road, Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Parsippany –Troy Hills Police Chief Richard Pantina said. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, authorities said.

Rockaway Woman Busted For DWI Following Crash: Denville PD
A Rockaway resident was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash in Morris County on the early morning of Tuesday, July 2, authorities said. At 3:32 a.m., officers responded to Franklin Road and Franklin Avenue on a report of a crash, Denville police said in a release. Police determined the driver, Dana Ojedis-Maclo was intoxicated, officers said. She was arrested and transported to Denville police headquarters for processing. She was released pending a court appearance, police said.

A 34-year-old Lebanon man was arrested and charged in Morris County on Tuesday, June 25 after police found him passed out while his vehicle was running in the roadway, authorities said. At 6 a.m., officers located a vehicle on Flocktown Road and found the man, who was not identified, passed out and operating a vehicle under the influence, Washington Township police said. A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a vehicle in Route 46 in Morris County on the afternoon of Monday, June 24, authorities said. The crash occurred between a motorcycle and a 2022 Honda on Route 46 East in Mount Olive, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said.
