Remembering Bob Bork, Crossing Guard Killed By Car Robert "Bob" Bork, a 79-year-old High Bridge crossing guard struck and killed by a car last week is being remembered for his dedication to helping others. Bork was hit by a southbound vehicle on County Road 513 at the intersection of Larrison Avenue last Wednesday, Nov. 28, according to the High Bridge Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office. Bork was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center, where he later died, officials said.  Good morning. Beloved Warren County Native Allen Burd Dies Suddenly At 35 Beloved Warren County native Allen R. Burd died suddenly on Nov. 17 at the age of 35. Burd graduated from Warren Hills High School in 2005, his obituary says. He lived in Mansfield Township for more than 30 years before moving to Lebanon Township, where he resided at the time of his death, according to his memorial. Burd worked at ACF Landscaping in Washington, his obituary says. In his free time, Burd loved all things sports, especially the Mets and Cowboys.
