Firefighters, EMS Respond To Crash With Injuries In Warren County
Firefighters, police and EMS crews responded to a crash with injuries overnight. The crash occurred at 11:18 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14 on Route 57 near Asbury Anderson Road in Mansfield Township shutting the roadway down in both directions. Mansfield Fire Companies Independence First Aid Squad, and Washington Emergency Squad all responded, according to Tri-County Volunteer Fire Co.'s Facebook post. Main Street Fire Displaces 6 In Hackettstown
Six people were displaced by a fire that ripped through a home on Main Street in Hackettstown. On Monday, Jan. 23, at 2:22 p.m., Hackettstown police, firefighters and the Rescue Squad responded to 300 Main Street, which is a residential over commercial wood framed building, in reference to a structure fire. Police observed smoke coming from the roof and began to evacuate the second floor. The fire was knocked down at approximately 2:41 p.m. The building was deemed uninhabitable. A driver was flown to a nearby trauma center after a multi-car crash involving a school bus in Warren County, authorities said. (Scroll for photos). The Mansfield Township Fire Company responded to the crash on Route 57 near Watters Road in Mansfield Township around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, the department said on Facebook. A Warren County woman accused of selling ecstasy was arrested following a two-week investigation, authorities said. Elizabeth B. Racanelli, 19, was arrested Dec. 22, Hackettstown Police said Tuesday. Retired Mansfield Township Police Sergeant, former firefighter and Board of Education member Charles W. Almer Jr. died Jan. 11 at at St. Luke’s Hospital in Phillipsburg. He was 85.
