Two cars collided at a busy intersection in Lambertville Wednesday morning, authorities said. The Lambertville Fire Department rushed to the scene at the intersection of Route 179 and Bridge Street after receiving a report of a crash that “sounded bad” just before 10:10 a.m. Upon arrival, all occupants had safely exited both vehicles and refused additional medical care. A Central Jersey man who secretly recorded people using restrooms at two local rescue squad stations while working as an EMT pleaded guilty to invasion of privacy, authorities said. A Hunterdon County emergency squad is desperately seeking answers after a radio was stolen from the scene of a rescue effort over the weekend. Members of the Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad were working in Stockton to save three victims stuck in storm waters Saturday night when an unknown person stole one of their radios, the team said. Fire crews in Hunterdon County arrived “in about a minute” at the scene of a brush fire that fully engulfed and tore through an adjacent home Friday morning. The blaze broke out on South Union Street between Swan and Mount Hope Streets in Lambertville just after 10:10 a.m., the local fire department said.
