Woman Hospitalized After Snake Bite In Hunterdon County:

A 25-year-old woman was hospitalized after being bitten by a snake in Hunterdon County on Wednesday, July 24, authorities said. At 9:59 a.m., police responded to a report of an animal bite at a residence on County Road 519 in Kingwood Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Police found a 25-year-old woman who had sustained minor injuries from a snake bite and she was transported to an area hospital, Lebron said. The incident remains under investigation, Lebron said. Forklift Accident On Route 12 Sends Man To Hospital:

A man had to be hospitalized after a run-in with a forklift on Route 12 in Hunterdon County on Monday, April 15, authorities said. At 9:59 a.m., Troopers responded to Route 12 in Kingwood Township and found the victim had sustained injuries to his foot due to a forklift, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The man was transported to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation, Lebron said. The incident remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Car Strikes Utility Pole On Route 519:

A car crashed into a utility pole on County Route 519 in Hunterdon County on the evening of Tuesday, April 9, authorities said. At 6:30 p.m., a Volkswagen passenger vehicle ran off the roadway while traveling on the highway in Kingwood Township and then struck the utility pole, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. There were no injuries reported and the crash remains under investigation.

Fire Ravages Hunterdon County Barn: Firefighters
A barn caught fire in Kingwood Township on Monday, March 11, authorities said. At 1:46 p.m., firefighters in Kingwood responded to the fire off County Route 519, Kingwood Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 said on Facebook. The fire began in the wall of the barn, firefighters said. Workers on the scene were able to safely evacuate animals from the barn, firefighters said. The homeowner and firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire, firefighters said.

Man Flown To Trauma Center After Hunterdon County Hunting Accident
A man was flown to a trauma center after shooting himself with a bow while hunting in Hunterdon County on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 26. A trapped driver and passenger were rescued and taken to a nearby hospital following a Thursday morning rollover crash in Hunterdon County, authorities said. The Kingwood Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 responded to the crash just before 9:55 a.m. and confirmed that the vehicle had overturned and trapped the two occupants, the company said. Stockton Motorcyclist, 31, Killed In Route 519 Crash
A 31-year-old man from Stockton was killed Tuesday evening after he swerved off the road on his motorcycle and hit a utility pole, state police said. Kyle Gamble was riding a Harley Davidson southbound on Route 519 in Kingwood Township when he crossed over the center line, hit a ditch and got ejected near milepost 8.2 around 5:30 p.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told Daily Voice. Gamble was pronounced dead at the scene, Curry said.
