Shoplifting Suspect Nabbed, 2 Still At Large After High-Speed Chase In Morris County: Police
One shoplifting suspect was caught while two others remain at large following a high-speed chase in Morris County on Sunday, Sept. 17, authorities said.
Aziz James, 24, of Jamaica, NY, was one of three suspects seen taking items from CVS Pharmacy in Denville around 7:50 p.m., local police said.
The two other suspects fled in a Jeep Wrangler before officers arrived, leaving James in the parking lot, where he was found with about $280 in over-the-counter medicine and charged with shoplifting.

UPDATE: A driver who was ejected after his Jeep veered off Route 287 and into a tree early Saturday afternoon was pronounced dead at the hospital, authorities said.

Two people died in a crash Sunday, Dec. 18 on the Garden State Parkway on Monmouth County, authorities said.
Jerome Digiovanni, 75, of Toms River, was partially stopped in the right lane in a Chevrolet Equinox with Ronald Devingo, 57, also of Toms River, standing to the left of the vehicle near mile post 97.7 in Wall Township around 1:30 p.m., New Jersey State Police said.

A 19-year-old woman was killed and two others were hurt after a deer caused a crash on Route 94 in Sussex County Sunday night, state police said.
Jesse Manno, 33, of Branchville, was driving a Jeep Wrangler on Route 94 southbound when he hit a deer and veered into the northbound lanes near milepost 15.1 in Fredon just after 10:25 p.m., NJSP Trooper Charles Marchan told DailyVoice.com.
