Fire Ravages Lodi Home
A fast-moving fire gutted a Lodi home. No injuries were reported in the fire, which broke out on Farnham Avenue just off Arnot Street near Harrison Avenue, shortly before 8 a.m. Firefighters were pulled out barely 20 minutes in as flames quickly spread through the 2½-story wood-frame home, compromising the interior of the structure. Fire Consumes Paramus Home
A furious fire consumed a Paramus home early Friday. The blaze apparently ignited on a rear deck and quickly spread through the 2½-story, wood-frame Village Circle West home around 5 a.m. A couple and their two daughters -- ages 4 and 8 -- all got out OK, neighbors said. Fire Tears Through Sussex County Home
A fire destroyed a Sussex County home Saturday morning. Flames were consuming the rear of the home from the basement to the attic when firefighters arrived at the Green Township home on Wolfs Corner around 11:15 a.m. A second-alarm was requested as firefighters arrived. A partial collapse of the deck was later reported. "We extend our thoughts and prayers to the homeowner during this difficult time as they try and recover and rebuild," the Green Township Fire Department said. The cause remains under investigation.
