Man Assaulted Woman Then Refused To Let Her Leave In Morris County: Cops
A 40-year-old Flanders man was arrested and charged with assaulting a woman and refusing to let her leave on the evening of Sunday, April 7, Mount Olive police said.
At 8:30 p.m., police responded to a residence in Flanders and found Andrew Heller sleeping inside, officers said.
Before waking up Heller, police located and removed multiple knives from his residence, officers said.
During their investigation, police determined Heller assaulted the woman, refused to let her leave the residence or request help, and made threats against her, officers said.

ICE has placed a detainer on a jailed Ecuadorian national who was charged with beating and choking a woman, taking her phone and holding her against her will in Hackensack.

A 22-year-old man was jailed after police say he stalked a woman on social media and assaulted and imprisoned her at her Northampton County home.
Zachary Tyler Petrucelli is accused of randomly contacting the woman several times on social media, Lower Saucon Police said.
After the woman asked him to stop and blocked him, Petrucelli allegedly went to her Hellertown home, cornered her in a room and held her down by her wrists on August 13, according to police.

Social media tips led to the arrest of a Middlesex man accused of shoplifting from a Burlington County grocery store.
State Police on Sept. 9 asked for the public's help in identifying a man who stole items from the Hainesport ShopRite.
Several tips subsequently identified Jamal Boone, 46, as a suspect, police said.
Troopers located Boone on Saturday, and arrested him without incident at a home in Mount Holly, State Police said.
