NJ Restaurant Fined $168K For Failing To Pay Workers In Overtime
A New Jersey restaurant owes more than $168,000 after failing to pay employees for overtime labor, federal officials said. North Jersey Business Owes Employees $910K: Department of Labor
A staffing agency in Bergen County has been ordered to pay 289 employees $910,000 in back wages, the Department of Labor announced following a court action. Advantix Logistics in Lyndhurst failed to pay hourly employees overtime wages for working more than 40 hours a week, the Department of Labor said. Employees often worked up to 70 hours a week at a warehouse, loading and unloading freights from containers and pallets, the Department of Labor said.
