There had been issues with Rivera before, management told police.
This time, Pulice said, Rivera returned with a machete and threat…

ONE Year Later: Englewood Man Who Went Missing Still Hasn't Been Found
SEEN HIM? The search continued for a lifelong Englewood resident with dementia who went missing a year ago Thursday.
Ruben Wilson, 69, had wandered off from his home near Cross Street and West Palisade Avenue before.
He's been known, in fact, "to travel significant distances despite his age and other challenges,” Detective Capt. Timothy Torell said.
The 6-foot, 240-pound Wilson has always turned up -- from as close as Teaneck, Hackensack and Tenafly, and as far as Wall Township.
That changed after Wilson went missing on May 27, 2020, just weeks after a previous walkaway.

Taking Liberties: Burglars Ate, Drank, Showered While Englewood Child, Sitter Were Home
A babysitter was alone with a young child when a Pennsylvania couple broke into an Englewood home, helped themselves to food, drink – even a shower – and fled in the victims’ SUV, authorities said. They may have even had sex there, too.
The babysitter eventually discovered the pair, who fled in the homeowner’s Lincoln Navigator with jewelry, a wallet, clothing and a backpack -- while leaving the clunker they drove up in behind, they said.
They also took the one item that authorities said would lead police directly to them: an iPhone.
Alex Ray Yeakley, of Myerstown, and Amanda Lentz, o…
Police: Jersey Shore Ex-Con Stalker Called Bergen Woman 200 Times, Hung Outside For Hours
A Jersey Shore ex-con phoned a former girlfriend more than 200 times before police found him near her Englewood home carrying a knife, authorities said.
Officers responding to the woman’s 911 call found Nicholas Anastasio, 30, of Long Branch nearby, Police Chief Lawrence Suffern said.
Anastasio served two years in prison in Florida for convictions for burglary, theft and fraud, records show.
He’d already been warned by Englewood police not to contact the victim, Suffern said.
Yet over the course of a week, the chief said, Anastasio was seen standing in front of her home for hours while ca…
