An intruder who tripped a burglar alarm at a Teaneck auto repair shop bolted out a back door as police responded, authorities said. Two people who fled a crash in Teaneck were captured by police – one of whom was carrying a gun and another who was found hiding in the laundry room of a nearby apartment building in a change of clothes, authorities said. Two Bronx women were killed when their vehicle was rear-ended by a truck on Route 95, responders said. The victims were in the back seat of a Subaru Impreza when a chain-reaction crash occurred in the local lanes of the northbound highway at milepost 120 near the DeGraw Avenue overpass in Teaneck around midnight Wednesday, New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota said. UPDATE: One victim was confirmed dead and westbound Route 3 in East Rutherford was temporarily closed Wednesday morning following what was the most serious in a series of crashes on icy North Jersey roads.
