Warren County District Goes Remote, Announces Closure For Nor'easter Winter Storm
One Warren County school district has announced that it will switch to fully remote learning Wednesday and close Thursday in anticipation of the Nor'easter storm expected to bring heavy snowfall to the region. 19: Warren County High School Goes Fully Remote After Reaching High-Risk Status
Students and staff at a Warren County high school will transition to fully remote classes through Dec. 11 after the region reached high-risk status, officials said Friday. The switch was made for Hackettstown High School students in grades 8 through 12 after New Jersey’s North West Region was classified at the orange level indicator for COVID-19 cases, district Superintendent David Mango said in a letter. 19: Remainder Of Hackettstown High School Football Season Canceled
The remainder of Hackettstown High School's football season has been cancelled after an additional student tested positive for COVID-19. The school had been closed with students participating in all-virtual classes for the next two weeks. Staff members have the option to return to the building to teach virtually on Nov. 2, while Hackettstown Middle Schoolers will return to class Nov. 9.
