90-Year-Old Woman Rescued From House Fire By Police, Fire Chief: Clinton Township PD A 90-year-old woman was rescued from a house fire in Clinton Township on Saturday, Oct. 5, authorities said. At 3 p.m., police reported heavy smoke coming from the front door of the home on 15 Westchester Terrace, the Clinton Township Police Department said in a release. Officer Michael Malanga and Fire Chief Jeff Hedden approached the front door and heard a woman yelling for help from inside the home, authorities said. A 66-year-old man was operating a dump truck that collided with a Toyota sedan driven by a 64-year-old woman around 2:20 p.m. in front of Riley and Jake's Restaurant, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office said. Man, 45, Airlifted After Dousing Hunterdon County Porch Fire A 45-year-old Hunterdon County resident was flown to a nearby hospital after dousing a fire on his front porch on Tuesday night, Dec. 12, police said. The blaze broke out at a home on Allerton Road in Clinton around 8:20 p.m., Clinton Township Police said.
