Berks County Boy, 10, Shot, Killed During Target Practice, DA Says
A 10-year-old Berks County boy was shot and killed during target practice on Thanksgiving Day, authorities said. Responders carried the boy out of the woods to an ambulance after he was shot near his home about 100 feet off Chestnut Street in Hereford Township around 1:30 p.m., they said. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest near Allentown, where he was pronounced dead. Englewood Girl, 11, Injured In SUV Accident
An 11-year-old Englewood girl was hospitalized following a vehicle accident Wednesday morning, authorities said. The child ran into the street and into the side of a passing Honda CRV on Durie Avenue near Tenafly Road around 8 a.m., Police Lt. Fred Pulice said. She was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with a leg injury, he said. The 59-year-old female driver from Englewood remained at the scene and wasn't issued any summonses.

Boy Shot In Hamilton, Gunman At Large, Police Say
A boy was shot in Hamilton over the weekend, and the gunman remains at large, police said. Officers responding to a shooting report near Greenwood Avenue and Connecticut Avenue found a boy with a gunshot wound in his upper left leg just before 6:35 p.m. Saturday, Hamilton Police Chief James M. A fast-acting mom rescued her 14-month-old son after he fell into a manhole at a North Jersey park on Thursday morning. The mom noticed her child went missing while at the Kawameeh Park in Union around 10:45 a.m., ABC7 reports. A 47-year-old Clifton man was charged with hitting a child, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes announced.
