16-Year-Old Among Trio Nabbed By Paterson Detectives In Separate Gun Arrests
A 16-year-old Paterson youth was one of three city residents arrested in separate gun-related incidents over a span of roughly 30 hours, authorities said. The teen was nabbed by Detectives Kenneth Kerwin, Suquan Gary, Joseph Aboyoun and John Traynor at the corner 12th Avenue and East 22nd Street shortly before 1 a.m. Monday, Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said. A driver was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he hit a Clifton police officer with his car on the shoulder of a highway and then led a pursuit that ended in a crash, authorities said. A North Carolina passenger was arrested on illegal gun and ammo possession charges following a Route 17 traffic stop in Paramus. A 19-year-old Oradell man has been arrested on child pornography charges, authorities said. A search of Everett C. Reilly’s home found more than 7,000 child pornography digital files depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
