A Morris County man who deliberately struck a woman with his car during an argument at a local pizza shop was charged with assault by auto and several other offenses, authorities said.
Oscar Trejo Cardona, 25, was charged with assault by auto, operating a vehicle without a license causing serious bodily injury, endangerment, failure to report an accident, careless driving, reckless driving, driving without a license, and leaving the scene of an accident involving personal injury, Hanover Police said in a release on Friday, June 24.

Scam ALERT: Men Used Counterfeit $100 Bills At Several NJ Gas Stations, Police Say
Two men have been charged after allegedly using counterfeit bills at several gas stations throughout the Garden State, authorities said Friday.
Mohammad Kamara, 30, of Newark, and Tonney Manyango, 29, of Sayreville, are accused of asking for $3.00 worth of gas at QuickChek in Cedar Knolls, paying with a counterfeit $100 bill, and asking for change for a second counterfeit $100 bill on Jan. 4, Hanover Police said.
A follow-up investigation found that several other convenience stores throughout New Jersey had recently experienced a similar scam between Jan. 4 and Jan. 6, authorities said.

A Morris County woman was arrested after police say she was found with more than six pounds of the psychedelic drug DMT.
Samone D. Eorio, 35, was taken into custody by the Hanover Township Police Department, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, and the investigative arm of the United States Department of Homeland Security on August 5, Police Chief Mark Roddy said.

Ulta Beauty announced plans to close 19 stores this year.
Shops slated to get the ax have not been announced, but the beauty supplies chain has shops across New Jersey that could be impacted.
Ulta Beauty top officials blamed COVID-19’s economic disruption as the reason for the cuts.
Even while it closes some stores, Ulta Beauty has plans to open 30 more. Efforts will be made to transfer employees from closed shops to new or already existing ones, the company said in a press release.
