Lehigh Coroner Seeks Next Of Kin For New Jersey Woman
Officials are looking for the loved ones of a New Jersey woman who died on Friday, July 12. Shirley J. Smith, 77, of Belvidere, broke her right femur in a fall and died from complications at St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. A 64-year-old New York driver was killed in a crash on Route 78 in Warren County, New Jersey on Sunday, March 10, authorities said. At 5:43 p.m., Carmen Berretta, of Albany, NY, collided with another vehicle on Route 78 eastbound in Pohatcong Township, the Lehigh County, PA Coroner's Office said. Berretta was taken to St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem, PA where he died of his injuries at 10:04 p.m., the coroner's office said. A Flemington man succumbed to his injuries after a car accident in Oxford Township on Tuesday, Nov. 21, according to officials. The crash happened on Route 31 near Mechanic Street around 4 p.m. and shut down through traffic on both lanes of the highway, Washington Township police said in a release. Ramesh R. Ramchandani, 82, was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where he died from multiple blunt force injuries, said the Northampton County Coroner's Office.
