Zyion Williams-Jones is accused of shooting Darryl Craft at midnight on Monday, Sept. 2 at Bergen Street and Chadwick Avenue, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Frage said.  Craft was rushed to University Hospital, where he was soon pronounced dead, authorities said. Driver Left To Die In Newark Crash After Friends Bailed, Family Says Family of a 23-year-old man killed in a Newark crash say he was left to die after friends bailed from the scene. Tahir Knox was removed from a Nissan Altima that lost control and struck a Chevy Tahoe on Bergen Street, after being struck by an eastbound BMW on Avon Avenue around 2 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II said. Knox was removed from the Altima by first responders and taken to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:45 a.m. Another passenger in the car was treated for leg injuries.
