Man, 45, Airlifted After Dousing Hunterdon County Porch Fire
A 45-year-old Hunterdon County resident was flown to a nearby hospital after dousing a fire on his front porch on Tuesday night, Dec. 12, police said. The blaze broke out at a home on Allerton Road in Clinton around 8:20 p.m., Clinton Township Police said. Officers arrived and found that the man was able to extinguish the flames but had been injured in the process. The man was subsequently flown to Saint Barnabas Medical Center for further treatment. : Trapped Student, Staff Member Rescued From Outside Hunterdon County HS: Police
A Hunterdon County student and staff members were rescued Thursday morning after getting trapped at the bottom of a steep and muddy hill, police said. Officers responding to a report of a technical issue at North Hunterdon High School found the student and staff member trapped at the bottom of a hill on school grounds around 8 a.m., Clinton Township Police said in a release. The pair were unable to climb back up or find a different route due to the wet and muddy conditions and steep terrain, police said. Authorities: Passenger Gets Behind Wheel, Crashes As Route 22 Driver With Loaded Gun Runs Away
A Brooklyn driver tried running from police as his passenger got behind the wheel and crashed the car after he was found with a loaded gun and drugs during an early-morning traffic stop on Route 22 Monday, authorities said. Christian Joel Cordero was heading eastbound with Genesis Bertefabian in the passenger seat when he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation around 1:30 a.m., Acting Hunterdon County Prosecutor Michael J.
