‘Eight Lives Left:’ Crews Save Curious Cat Trapped In Hunterdon County Heating Duct No emergency is too minor for rescue crews who rushed to save a frightened feline that got stuck in the heating duct of a Hunterdon County home before dawn Saturday. The curious cat crawled up into the duct — which had its grate removed due to recent remodeling — in the ceiling of a home in the Sun Ridge development in Raritan around 2 a.m., according to the Flemington-Raritan First Aid and Rescue Squad.
