Prosecutor: Woman Killed, Man Critically Injured In Union County Double-Shooting A woman was killed and a man critically injured in a double-shooting in Union County earlier this week, authorities said. Johanna Cordova-Salazar, 29, of Plainfield was fatally shot near Lee Place and South Second Street around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, acting Union County Prosecutor Lyndsay V. Ruotolo said in a joint release with Plainfield Police Director Lisa Burgess. A male victim, meanwhile, was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick for emergency treatment.
