The crash occurred in the area of Route 31 and Rocky Run Road in Lebanon Township just before 1 p.m. Thursday, according to a post from the local fire department.
Both vehicles landed in the woods following the crash, causing entrapment, the Lebanon Township Fire Department said.
One victim was extricated with help from fire stations in Hampton, High Bridge and South Branch before being airlifted by Northstar about 26 minutes after initial dispatch, the department said, adding that all agencies’ members “worked extremely well together.”
Two other occupants were also injured in the crash, the department said.
