Crews Work To Repair Blown Transformer Affecting Power To More Than 2,200 Phillipsburg Homes

Crews are working to repair a blown transformer that was affecting power to more than 2,200 Phillipsburg homes Thursday afternoon, town officials said.

JCP&L was at the site of the blown transformer at Warren Street and Heckman Street around 2:50 p.m., according to a post on the town’s official Facebook page.

“They are working hard to restore it ASAP!” town officials said.
