Sean was born and raised in Whitehouse, where he became well-known for his compassionate and loving soul, his obituary says.
He was an incredibly spirited musician, especially songwriting and playing the guitar. He was also a certified personal trainer and embraced his ability to uplift others as they navigated their individual health journeys.
Above all, Sean loved spending his time with his many friends and family members, who will cherish his legacy of kindness and selflessness forever.
Sean was predeceased by his loving mother, Deborah McKenna; his maternal grandparents, Walter and Virginia Usher; and paternal grandfather, Robert McKenna.
Sean leaves behind his adoring father, Peter McKenna; his sister, Melissa McKenna; his brother and sister-in-law, Kyle and Brianna McKenna; his youngest brother, Conor McKenna; his paternal Grandmother, Margaret McKenna; and many more.
Sean’s funeral services were being held privately for immediate family members. A repast was scheduled for Friday, Sept. 29 at the Rail At Readington on Main Street in Whitehouse, where all are welcome to attend and share memories.
Donations were being made in Sean’s loving memory to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA) due to his strong advocacy for Ovarian Cancer awareness in his mother's honor.
“Forever in our hearts, we know you brought your guitar to heaven with you,” reads a touching social media tribute “Rest in peace, Sean.”
