At 6:30 p.m., a Volkswagen passenger vehicle ran off the roadway while traveling on the highway in Kingwood Township and then struck the utility pole, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
There were no injuries reported and the crash remains under investigation.
