CT Cracks Down On Illegal Slot Machines Rigged To Steal Money State regulators are cracking down on illegal gambling machines, warning that the devices are designed to steal players' money. Investigators seized six machines and $900 in cash from four locations in December 2024, the Department of Consumer Protection said in a news release on Thursday, Feb. 6.
