Woman Struck By Vehicle Driven By 85-Year-Old Man: Summit Police A 73-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle in Summit on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 31, authorities said. At 12:45 p.m., the woman was crossing the alleyway at the entrance to the Tier Garage at 426 Springfield Ave. when she was struck by a 2021 Jeep Cherokee driven by an 85-year-old man who was traveling east on Springfield Avenue and turned right into the alleyway leading to the garage, Summit police said in a release.
