Five-Alarm Fire Displaces 17 In Bayonne, Arson Task Force Investigating The Hudson County Regional Arson Task Force is investigating a five-alarm fire that tore through a residential building in Bayonne, displacing 17 people on Friday, Nov. 22, authorities said. The fire broke out at approximately 11:45 a.m. at 458 Avenue C, Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Upon arrival, Bayonne firefighters saw heavy smoke and flames coming from a bedroom inside one of the apartments, officials said.
