Driver Hospitalized After Car Crashes Into Tree In Hunterdon County: Njsp A driver was hospitalized after their ca crashed into a tree on the evening of Friday, Dec. 27, authorities said. At 10:58 p.m., a Volkswagen passenger vehicle veered off the roadway and stuck a tree on Hockenbury Drive in Glen Gardner Borough, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

At 10:08 p.m., a Toyota vehicle was traveling westbound on Route 80 in Knowlton Township when the driver lost control, ran off the roadway and struck a tree, Sgt. Charles Marchan of the New Jersey State Police said. The two children were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.
