Man Killed After Crashing Into Utility Pole: Evesham PD A 46-year-old Ocean Township man was killed after his car crashed into a utility pole in Evesham on Monday, March 17, authorities said. At 5:53 p.m., officers responded to Evesboro Medford Road and Elmwood Road and found a vehicle had collided with a utility pole, Evesham police said. Kevin Pepper, the driver, was found unconscious and not breathing inside the vehicle, police said. Pepper was transported to Virtua Hospital in Marlton where he was pronounced dead, police said.  The investigation into the crash is ongoing, police said.

Officers began investigating after a person told law enforcement they received a phone call from an individual claiming to be a member of the F.B.I, Evesham police said. Brij Shukla informed the person that they owed the government $40,000 and instructed them to withdraw the money, stating that a "courier" would visit their residence to retrieve the cash, police said.
