At 9:23 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, officers pulled over a vehicle on Route 46 after observing multiple violations, Denville police. Officers determined the driver, Ronald Brooks, was intoxicated, police said.

On Saturday, July 4, at 11:45 p.m., officers spotted a red Toyota driving on Route 46 with a flat tire, Mount Olive police said. The vehicle was pulled over by My Sweet Cleaners and as officers spoke with the driver, Arkar Lin, they detected the odor and noticed he appeared to be impaired, police said.

A missing 12-year-old girl was safely located in Sparta Township following an extensive search, authorities announced Friday, July 10.
On Wednesday, July 8, at 5:21 p.m., officers responded to a report of a missing juvenile who had left home and failed to return, Sparta police said.
An extensive search began, and other law enforcement agencies were alerted after it was learned she may have traveled outside Sparta, police said.
