Solution To The Stink: $7M Project Approved To Reduce South Jersey Landfill's Foul Odors A multimillion-dollar project to cap 16 acres of the Egg Harbor Township landfill is moving forward, aiming to reduce odors and address concerns raised by Atlantic County residents, officials said. The Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) will permanently cap 16 acres of the landfill, the agency said in a news release on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
