According to 6abc, the facility was evacuated due to an armed man in the casino. Wildfire Consumes 450 Acres Of Wharton State Forest (

A wildfire has consumed 450 acres in Wharton State Forest in Burlington County, authorities said on Friday, July 5. The "Tea time Hill" wildfire had not been contained at all as of 3 p.m., the New Jersey Forest Fire Service said. The Forest Fire Service is on scene of the wildfire burning in the area of the Batona Campground and Apple Pie Hill in Tabernacle Township, the state agency said on Facebook. A hunting club and one home were threatened by fire, the agency said. The Batona Campground in Wharton State Forest has been evacuated, it said. Local forest roads were closed nearby. Later…

Bomb Threat At South Jersey Business Closes Route 73 (

Part of Route 73 in Evesham was closed after police received a report of a bomb placed at an unidentified business, authorities said. Buildings were being evacuated and detours were in place in the area of Route 73 and Brick Road, Evesham Police Chief Walt Miller said on Facebook at about noon on Thursday, June 27. “We ask the public to plan extra travel time in this area and to be patient as we navigate this situation," Miller said. “Our goal is to ensure public safety in this area, while we investigate this situation and find a resolution to the threat.”

24 Condos Destroyed By Fire In East Windsor
Residents of 24 condominiums in East Windsor were displaced by a fire, authorities said. On Monday, June 10, at approximately 4:30 p.m., East Windsor Township police responded to a reported structure fire at building K of the American Way Condos on Avon Drive. The first responding police officers observed heavy smoke and flames coming from the second floor on the north end of the structure. Police evacuated all residents from the K building.
