A $2.74 million house tops the list of most expensive homes sold in Morris County in the last 30 days, according to Zillow. According to Redfin, home prices were up 10.8% compared to last year, in September 2024, selling for a median price of $665,000. On average, homes in Morris County sold after 20 days on the market compared to 21 days last year, Redfin said. Police ID Missing Fisherman Found Dead In NJ Lake
Police have identified the fisherman who went missing and was later found dead in a New Jersey lake. Valeri Malov, of Pine Brook, had gone fishing in the body of water behind an industrial complex on Chapin Road Saturday morning, Aug. 24, Montville Police Chief Andrew Caggiano said. Responding officers found his fishing equipment on the shoreline and began a search of the area. Malov's body was found the following day around 8:50 p.m. in the water, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, Caggiano said. Overturned Dump Truck, Crash With Injuries Close Two Major Highways In North Jersey
Two crashes caused delays on two major highways in North Jersey during morning rush hour Tuesday, July 2. One involving an overturned dump truck closed two eastbound lanes east of Exit 47A in Montville on Route 80. Route 280 traffic July 2. Authorities have released more information about a fatal crash on a busy New York road that left a New Jersey man dead. Peter Leist, 62, of Denville, NJ was heading west on Route 301 in Carmel, NY, when he crossed over the double yellow lines to pass a few vehicles and collided head-on with a small bus, around 2:10 p.m. Friday, May 31, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said. Milania Giudice, the 18-year-old daughter of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice was involved in a two-car crash in Morris County on Friday, May 17, authorities said. At 7:18 a.m. on Myrtle Avenue in the Town of Boonton, Giudice, a Montville resident, was traveling north when her 2018 Mercedes collided with a Ford Fusion driven by a 71-year-old Fair Lawn resident, according to a police report obtained by Daily Voice.
