Driver, 33, Charged In Crash That Killed Passaic County Grandmother: Prosecutor A 33-year-old Clifton man has been charged in the April crash that killed a 58-year-old grandmother from Passaic, authorities announced. Grzegorz Wolak was in a red Ford Explorer when he struck Rachel McNeil on Passaic and Aycrigg avenues around 11:15 p.m. April 10, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Chief of Police Luis A. Guzman said. McNeil died two days later at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. Fleeing Morris County Driver Hits Officer, Arrested At Costco: Police A 27-year-old Denville man was arrested and charged after he struck a police officer while fleeing on Sunday, Oct. 20, authorities said. While officers were conducting a traffic stop on Indian Road, it was discovered the driver, Liam Harrigan, had an active NCIC Warrant out of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, Denville police said. As officers attempted to take Harrigan into custody, he fled from them in his vehicle, police said. Photo Shows Aftermath Of DUI Crash That Injured Officers On Route 17 (Update) The NJ State PBA has released a photo of the wreckage of the Saturday, Oct. 5 crash caused by a DUI driver that left multiple police officers injured, including one seriously. As of press time, Saddle River Police Officer John Latka has been released from the hospital, while Allendale Police Officer Mark Dunn, Jr. remains hospitalized in critical condition, the NJ State PBA said.
