New details have emerged in a serious wreck last June in Passaic County. According to police papers obtained by Daily Voice, the 31-year-old Paterson man who caused the crash on Hamburg Turnpike in Wayne had been trying to end his own life, but ended up injuring a 44-year-old motorist instead. A 25-year-old pickup truck driver from Passaic was captured on camera erratically leaving the scene of a crash in Hudson County where authorities said he struck two pedestrians and a vehicle, leaving three victims seriously injured. A pedestrian was airlifted to the hospital and the driver who hit her outside a Park Ridge hotel arrested on DWI assault-by-auto charges, responders at the scene said.
