Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

A 60-year-old Ronkonkoma man was driving a 2015 Kia sedan southbound on Ocean Avenue when the vehicle struck a pedestrian who was crossing the street at the intersection of Johnson Avenue. Levittown Man Accused Of Stalking Girl A Long Island man has been accused of stalking a teenager after what police say were multiple incidents that occurred between Friday, Oct. 4, and Friday, Oct. 11. The suspect followed a 16-year-old girl while operating a 2013 gray Nissan Rogue in Levittown as she was walking home from school on Wantagh Avenue in the vicinity of Old Jerusalem Avenue, according to Nassau County Police. Death Of 7-Month-Old Under Investigation In Riverhead An investigation is under way after a 7-month-old died on Long Island. Officers responded to a 911 call reporting that the baby at a Riverhead residence, on 3rd Street, was unconscious and not breathing. CPR was performed, but the infant was pronounced dead at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. Riverhead Town PD detectives and the Suffolk County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating the circumstances that led to the child's death. 73-Year-Old ID'd As Drowning Victim In Sagaponack Authorities have identified a drowning victim on Long Island. The Southampton Town Police Department said it received an abandoned 911 call from the vicinity of Gibson Lane in Sagaponack at about 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4. Fatal House Fire: 62-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Nesconset A Long Island resident was killed in a house fire. The blaze broke out around 5:25 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, in Nesconset. First responders rushed to the scene at Highland Place after a 911 call.
