Crash Closes Jersey Shore Road For Several Hours, Police Say
A crash closed a road in Ocean County for several hours, authorities said. East Veterans Highway was shut down between South Hope Chapel Road and Whitesville Road, the Jackson Township Police Department said in a Facebook post at 2:06 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1. Traffic was also blocked from Pitney Lane onto East Veterans Highway. Officers said the road would be closed for several hours. Police haven't said how many vehicles were involved or if anyone was injured. Residents living in the area near the crash can notify officers directing traffic to get access to their homes.

Person Injured When Vehicle Crashes Into Utility Pole In South Jersey: Police
A person was injured when a vehicle crashed into a utility pole and overturned in South Jersey, authorities said. The vehicle struck a utility pole in front of Bagel King on West County Line Road in Jackson Township on Tuesday, July 30, police Chief Matthew Kunz said. A Facebook user posted a picture of the damage from the crash at around 7:25 a.m. The picture showed a dark-colored vehicle on its side. The utility pole was damaged and wires were hanging low over the crash site. One person in the vehicle suffered minor injuries, Chief Kunz said.

A crash with serious injuries closed all lanes of Interstate 295 in Camden County, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 25 on the southbound ramp to Exit 26S in Bellmawr, according to NJDOT. Based on a preliminary investigation, a Honda was traveling southbound on I-295. In the area of milepost 27.3, the Honda ran off the roadway, impacted the concrete barrier, and overturned, New Jersey State Police said. A crash with injuries shut down the Atlantic City Expressway in one direction near the city's convention center, officials said. The state Department of Transportation said the westbound lanes of the Atlantic City Expressway were closed at around 2:09 p.m. on Thursday, July 25. The crash happened just west of the Atlantic City Convention Center. One westbound lane reopened as of 4:08 p.m., the NJDOT said.
