Trenton Man IDed As Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Hit, Run Vehicle: Morris County Prosecutor
A 35-year-old Trenton resident was identified as the man struck and killed by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in Parsippany Monday evening, Aug. 19, authorities said. Jelson Cabrera was struck on Route 46 West near Sandra Drive, a spokeswoman for the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said. The vehicle fled the scene, authorities said. Cabrera was transported to Morristown Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, authorities said. Investigators said they believe the suspect vehicle is a silver or gray 2019 to 2021 Toyota RAV 4, which is missing a sideview mirror on the passenger side.…

Two More Arrested In Plot To Murder Man On Jersey Shore, Prosecutors Say
Two more men were charged in a plot to shoot and kill another man in Jackson Township, authorities said. Noah Phelps of Monroe Township and Glenn Franzson of Jackson Township were arrested, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release on Tuesday, Aug. 20. Five teens are accused of pulling a knife on a man and robbing him at an Atlantic City casino, authorities said. The five boys from Atlantic City were arrested on Friday, Aug. 9, the city's police department said in a news release on Wednesday, Aug. 14. The New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) has proposed suspending four Trenton liquor licenses because the establishments' owner has been charged with sex assault crimes. Police Searching For Suspect In Bank Robbery On Jersey Shore
Police were looking for a man accused of robbing a bank in Ocean County, authorities said. The Brick Township Police Department released a photo of the suspect on Facebook on Wednesday, July 24. Officers were called to a robbery report at Santander Bank on Beaverson Boulevard at around 12:15 p.m. Investigators said the suspect entered the bank, demanded money from the teller, and ran away with an undisclosed amount of money. A 38-year-old man was shot and killed in his car in West Philadelphia on Monday evening, July 15, according to city police. Ardi Torollari of Northfield, New Jersey was shot in the chest while sitting in his Volkswagen on the 200 block of South 54th Street, investigators said in a release. Authorities have identified a Red Bank man who was killed in a double shooting. Mikal Muhammad, 36, died in the shooting on Wednesday, July 10, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release on Monday, July 15.
