Historic Freehold Raceway To Permanently Close At End Of 2024 Freehold Raceway, the oldest racetrack in the U.S., will close after two centuries of competitions and Monmouth County history, officials said. Freehold Raceway will hold its final live races and simulcast operations on Saturday, Dec. 28, the half-mile track said in a news release. Foodiehall Delivery-Takeout Store Shutters In South Jersey A popular takeout and delivery food joint in Camden County has closed after three years in business. Foodiehall on Olney Avenue in Cherry Hill shuttered for good on June 15, according to a Facebook post.  "It is with mixed emotions that I’m announcing the closing of Foodiehall.
