A 52-year-old Franklin man was arrested on Saturday, July 27, after he fired gunshots that damaged his neighbor's property, authorities said. Officers arrived on Corkhill Road and determined Kevin Kaye was intoxicated when he was handling the rifle, causing damage to his neighbor's fence, above-ground pool, children's clubhouse and garage, Franklin Borough police said. Gunman Arrested After Firing Shots In Phillipsburg: Prosecutor
A man was arrested and charged after shots were fired in Phillipsburg on Thursday, May 23, authorities said. At 8:35 p.m., officers in Phillipsburg responded to Stockton Street and Mercer Street and confirmed shots were fired, Acting Warren County Prosecutor Anthony Picione said. Khalil Thomas was identified as the suspect and charged with multiple weapons offenses, aggravated assault, terroristic threats and refusing to allow law enforcement to fingerprint him, Picione said.

A 24-year-old man who was shot and killed at an apartment building near New Jersey City University last month was robbing someone there at gunpoint at the time, authorities said. The development came to light with the arrests of two men who investigators said were involved in the April 30 holdup but not in the death of David Jones, 24.
