Stop Signs Proposed For Intersection Of Crash That Killed NJ Teen Days after a crash that killed a teen girl, officials in Hunterdon County are looking to make the intersection where she died safer with the installation of a stop sign. An "all-way stop" is being proposed for the intersection of County Route 617 (Sydney Road), Hogback Road and Lower Landsdown Road in Franklin Township, the county's board of commissioners announced. The intersection appears to be a two-way stop, with stop signs at Lower Landstdown and Hogback Roads, but not along County Route 617, according to Google Maps. Police ID 16-Year-Old Dead In NJ Wreck Police have identified the victim of a crash early Thursday, Aug. 22 in Hunterdon County as a 16-year-old girl. Sophia Detorres, of Franklin Township, was a passenger in a three-vehicle crash around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Hogback Road and Lower Lansdown Road, the county prosecutor's office announced.  Three passengers and one driver were seriously injured and were taken to area hospitals.
