A 26-year-old motorcyclist was killed and a 49-year-old dirt bike operator was seriously injured in a crash Sunday, Sept. 8 on the Garden State Parkway in Toms River, authorities said. Antonio Caprara, 26, of Beachwood, was heading south on the right shoulder while Lenny Ritorto, of Toms River, was heading south on the acceleration lane from the Exit 81 entrance ramp when the two collided near milepost 81.7 around 1 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Two Injured In Motorcycle-Minivan Crash On Route 206:

Two people were injured after a motorcycle struck a minivan on Route 206 in Sussex County on the evening of Monday, Sept. 2, authorities said. At 6:29 p.m., a Chrysler minivan was stopped in traffic, waiting to turn left on Route 206 north in Sandyston Township when it was struck in the back by a motorcycle, Charles Marcha, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver of the motorcycle and driver of the minivan were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.
