A body was found in a river in Hunterdon County on Sunday, Oct. 27, authorities said. At 5:15 p.m., the Holland Township Police Department responded to a report of a body found in the Musconetcong River, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office said.. A fisherman reported finding the body in a shallow section of the river while fishing in the area, authorities said. The initial investigation indicated that the person had been deceased for several weeks prior to being located, authorities said. Two people were injured after two truck collided in Route 78 in Hunterdon County on the morning of Monday, Oct. 21, authorities said. At 7:03 a.m., a USPS truck lost control on Route 78 West in Bethlehem Township and truck another truck hauling carbonated drinks, subsequently veering off the roadway and crashing into a guardrail, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
