Mugshot Released, Attempted Murder Charge For 79-Year-Old Man In NJ SWAT Standoff
Charges have been filed against a 79-year-old Union County man who was arrested after a SWAT standoff early Wednesday, July 2. Kenneth Kutyla, of Clark, has been charged with first-degree attempted murder, second-degree aggravated assault, aggravated assault with a firearm, and possession of a firearm for unlawful purpose, local police said. Horse Farm Stabbing Suspect Wanted For Attempted Murder Out Of Warren County, Police Say
Police in Blairstown are looking for a man wanted for a stabbing on Tuesday, June 2, authorities said. The suspect stabbed another man on Meadow Cliff Lane on a horse farm in Hardwick Township, Blairstown police said. The man is Hispanic, 5'1" and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a dragon on it and blue jeans, police said. He is believed to still be on foot in the area of the farm in Hardwick Township, police said. If seen, call 911, police said.

Mugshot Released Of Murder Suspect In Shooting That Rattled NJ Town
The mugshot of a 34-year-old murder suspect arrested in a New Jersey shooting that rattled a small town has been released. Anthony Garvin, of Netcong, was charged with murder and possession of a firearm and lodged in the Berks County Jail in Leesport, PA, a spokesperson for the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said following the Thursday, June 28 incident. All lanes of Route 287 were closed due to a crash late Thursday, June 27, the NJDOT site says. The NJDOT site said police were on scene of a crash investigation in the northbound lanes south of Route 202 as of 11 p.m. The crash itself happened just after 8:30 p.m., preliminary reports say. Two people were arrested at a home in Sparta following a dispute where a knife was brandished on Saturday, June 15, police said.
