On Thursday, Aug. 15 at 11:53 a.m., police responded to a BP gas station on Route 57 after a man, Leiner Mera, stole money from the cash register, Mansfield Township police said in a release. Man Stole Jewelry From Morris County Pawn Shop: Police A 24-year-old Mansfield Township man was arrested on Monday, Aug. 26 and charged with stealing jewelry from a pawn shop in Hackettstown, authorities said. At 12:11 p.m., officers responded to The Gold Mine at 176 Main St. on a report of a theft, Hackettstown Police said. The man entered the store and asked to see several pieces of jewelry, police said. While the victim was distracted, the man stole four pieces of jewelry, valued at $250 and exited the building, police said. Man Fired Gun 9X Times To Break Up Fight, Warren County Prosecutor Says A 34-year-old Port Murray man was recently arrested and charged after he fired a gun nine times in Warren County on Friday, May 24, authorities said. At 10:15 p.m., police in Mansfield Township responded to Gulick Street after receiving a report of gunfire, Acting Warren County Prosecutor Anthony Picione said. An investigation found that Kajaun Manley had fired nine gunshots to break up an altercation, Picione said. No one was shot, Picione said. Manley was charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, Picione said.
