'Loud Bang' Leads Police To Drunk, Reckless Driver: Denville PD
A 31-year-old Rockaway woman was arrested and charged with drunk driving following a crash on Sunday, Dec. 22, authorities said.
That day, officers were alerted to a "loud bang" on Indian Road and Route 53, Denville police said. Officers discovered a crash with the driver, Kristen Cobb, still inside the vehicle, police said.
Following an investigation, Cobb was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated, police said. Cobb was also issued summonses for reckless driving and careless driving, police said.

A 62-year-old Denville Township man was arrested and charged with driving drunk following a hit and run crash on Saturday, July 13.
The crash occurred in the Cedar Lake area, Denville police said in a release. An investigation revealed Mark Johnson was under the influence when the crash occurred, police said.
