NY Man Fakes Slashing To Burglarize Route 17 Bank, Police Say
A 32-year-old New York man is facing charges in Paramus, NJ for pretending he was held at knifepoint in one location when, in fact, he was burglarizing another, police said. Officers were called to the Dunkin parking lot at 492 Route 17 North on Sunday, Sept. 1 where Jonathan Gardner, of Canastota, NY, had told authorities he was being held at knifepoint and suffered a slash to his arm while defending himself from an attacker, Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti said. Don't be fooled by the face tats, Lil Uzi Vert is a softie at heart. The popular rapper, whose real name is Symere Bysil Woods, fell in love with a mini pig at NJ Exotic Pets in Lodi. Uzi flew into Teterboro on Monday, July 15, according to the store's spokesperson Chris Rivera. He came to the pet shop specifically looking for a mini pig. Two men have been arrested while one remains at large after fleeing from a stolen BMW that they crashed during a pursuit in Paramus , authorities said. Paramus Office Slavko Bajovic spotted a white BMW X4 driving carelessly along Route 17 north near Midland Avenue around 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti said.
